2) Copy the PS3 Folder onto a flash drive to and then to your PS3s hard drive by going to Saved Data Utility (PS3) select your flash drive then press triangle then copy.
3) Load MW2 with 1.07 patch installed and Go to Split Screen and play for a couple seconds on both of the files that you just copied to your PS3
4) Go on your PS3 and Delete the MW2 1.07 patch by going to Game Data Utility and pressing triangle-delete on the MW2 file
5) Go on your PC and open up PS3 Patch Blocker that you downloaded in step one. Now there will be a number that looks like 192.168.X.X once you know that number press the start button.
6) Now go back to your PS3 and go to Settings-Network Settings-Internet Connection Settings and then click Custom now press Right on the Directional Pad until you see something that says Proxy Server Dont Use or Use, here you need to press Use. In the top box that is empty type the number that you found in step 4 that looked like 192.168.X.X leave the bottom box to 8080.
7) After you finish setting the Internet Proxy on your PS3 up that we walked you through in step 6 go sign in on your PS3. It should sign in fine.
Start Up Modern Warfare 2(notice it will not ask you to download 1.07 patch)
9) Go to multiplayer and click play online and allow it to completely load your rank and everything then back out and go to Split Screen
10) With Controller 1 load up the Error File and an error will appear, press Ok and start Split screen back up and press X twice, You should now be in the split screen game lobby. Go to barracks and then go to Prestige Mode and go Prestige, When you Prestige it should come up with one more error, press ok
11) Now go back into Split Screen and with Controller 1 load up the Prestige file. When it loads up there should be no errors, now press circle and go to play online. If you got signed out of PSN it will ask you to sign back in here so go ahead and sign back in then proceed to Play Online.
12) Now that you are in the online game lobby click barracks and then go prestige… Thats it you are done, go back to your XMB and set your internet connection back to normal by pressing “Easy” not “Custom” and then exit out of the PS3 Patch Blocker.
(IF AT ANYTIME DURING THE PROCESS OF THE STEPS ABOVE YOU GET SIGNED OUT, SIMPLY PRESS THE PS BUTTON AND SIGN BACK IN… REPEAT THIS AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED)

~~ DOESN’T WORK / PATCHES ~~
The game publisher, Bethesda, has issued mandatory game fixes for all of the major consoles with online access for this game. In order to use this glitch, you’ll probably have to remove the patch. This video is about the glitch, not about patch removal. All new comments about how the glitch doesn’t work will be ridiculed for not reading this section first, then you’ll read it, and slap yourself. Just to say so, i *would not* advise trying this glitch if you’re system is already patched. There are plenty of other glitches that don’t need unpatched games than to go to all that trouble.

~WARNING~
Any armor or weaps that you find in any of the post-patch addons (such as Anchorage treasures, etc) will be removed if you remove the patches (but not your save games, just the inventory items). I would NOT recommend using this trick anymore (it was posted and was good just after the game was released and before any patches/addons were out yet) unless you have no DLC yet. There is no way to remove just the patches from Fallout 3.

~~ LEVEL 20 ~~
Can you only get up to level 20 with this glitch? You can only get to level 20 if you don’t have the Brotherhood of Steel add-on (or have purchased a future GOTY edition). After that, you can only get to level 30. It’s not the glitch’s fault, it’s part of the game itself.
~~ RUINS FUN ~~
Some say this glitch takes the fun out of the game, and they’re certainly welcome to think that. However, I think having twenty perks practically from the beginning makes the game more fun, instead of running around being severely limited for most of it while you bother with leveling up. That’s what glitching is, really.
~~ SILVER TONGUE ~~
Chances are, if you use this trick for getting all the way up to level 20 (I suggest waiting to use the “Here and Now” perk only when you reach level 19, so you’ll save the most time) you’ll end up with over 2000 successes. So yes, you can unlock the Silver Tongue achievement (50 successes) with this.
~~ TROPHIES ~~
I don’t have a PS3, but I’m certain that since the update for PS3 includes the trophy system, that you won’t be able to be awarded trophies if you delete the update. Google it.
~~ FINDING BITTERCUP ~~
The trick will only work as long as you’ve gotten on Bittercup’s good side (one chance, when you first meet her. Pappy must also still be alive, naturally. If you can’t find her, it’s probably day time. She sleeps in the day, so go look in the beds.
~~ IS SANDMAN QUICKER? ~~
Not necessarily. If you’ve got high enough speech skill (or higher Charisma is better), then you can get a success every time. With Andale, you get 50EXP but have to wait for an animation to run its cycle every time. With this, you can get 6EXP per selection, but you can skip his response and keep hammering it. If you’re fast on the button-mashing, you can get over 50 in the same amount of time you get 50 with Andale.
