How to prevent dust build up for the ps3? Is it necessary to buy a vacuum for the ps3?
Posted on Dec 19, 2009 under ps3 | 3 CommentsHow to avoid dust build up in the ps3? I don’t have vacuum i only use duster after playing. Is this enough? How about you guys , any recommendation to last the ps3 longer. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
keep your ps3 off the ground of course if your in the basement keep it like 3-5 feet above the ground. Its better to have the ps3 of course standing vertically. Ps3 has been in the same spot for 2 years now and nothing bad has happened to it i think we cleaned it out like once every 1-2 months or maybe even longer

I usually do a fan test….. It revs up the fan to full RPM and blows the dust out…. Check link to know how to do it… Very easy. Also, if you have a disc stuck into it, the below fan test forces it out…. Really good thing since people always ask how to force eject a stuck disc in the PS3… Well there you have it.
