Is there a secret to hacking computers in Fallout 3 for PS3?
Posted on Feb 21, 2010 under ps3 secrets | 4 CommentsI can get the first four or five, for in the Little Lamplight terminal, then I can’t get the fifth/sixth. I usually look for something with more than one symbol. for example (:-:>) or something
There’s no secret to hacking the computers. You choose one of the several words that are available and then the terminal will tell you how many letters are in the correct position of your guessed word as compared to the ~actual~ password. For example: pretend the actual password is "STOP". If you guess "SLOP", you will have 3 letters correct (‘s’, ‘o’, & ‘p’); however, if you guess "POTS", you will have 0 letters correct (as none are in the correct ~position~). Don’t pick any of the punctuation marks — those are never correct.
The important thing to bear in mind is you get only 4 guesses before you’re locked out of the terminal (unless you have the Computer Whiz perk). So, if you made 3 incorrect guesses, it is likely best to exit the terminal, then re-attempt to log back in (this will reset your four chances).

There actually is an instance where the punctuation marks are helpful. Usually the punctuation marks are highlighted individually, but there is always one group of punctuation marks. If you choose that group it will randomly either remove one wrong answer or it will reset your tries.

Hello guys,I like your site and it looks very interesting and easy to read,really!. I am from Usa. I love the Soccer and cannot wait till 11th June, can you?.But there is a problem camming from FIFA. It is that doesn´t choose the best teams in this planet for the World Cup which it should otherwise don´t call the World Cup a final, if you want to play football for the soul of competition then go to the olympics games. this is exactly what the World Cup is turning to, and it su…, ire needed to beat france to be in and is not, jap beat lowly teams as bahrain, qatar, kuwait, to be in, is this justice I dont think so, just because you are in the World Cup it doesn´t mean that you have the quality to be in like jap can attes. Any way, I desire to see a super final on 11th July and my favorite winner team is South Africa,and my favorite player is Iker Casillas.Good blog and keep going.Cu!
