This question reminds me of this one time when I was dropping mentos into diet coke bottles. At first I was all like "hey this is pretty cool". But then I was all like, "lets kick this up a notch". As a chemistry major, I understood the basic science behind it, so figured I would just scale the reaction up. I replaced the mentos with a firecracker and replaced the diet coke with a 5-gallon bucket of gasoline. I stood really really far back because as a chem major, I've read at least three books on the subject of science. Because I was so far back I believe it took ten tries before I could throw the firecracker and hit the bucket. When I did, I saw what can only be described as a miracle. First the light. So much light, everything else around me ceased to exist. I was no longer standing in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart. I was in a world of pure light. Then came the sound. It sounded like my HDMI sony 5.1 surround sound receiver successfully working, turned up to max volume, and secret callibration 7669 calibration working while I blew some terrorists back to Babylon in modern warfare 2. And I don't mean blew in the sexual way either. Hope that helps.
