Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of the PLAYSTATION 3 PS3 video game console and blu-ray player. Now the the Bluray and HD-DVD format war are regarded as over, what does that really mean? Does Blu-Ray have a rosey future, or has the real format war just begun? In the PS3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii battle for video game supremacy who will win? Some of these questions are brought to the table in this look from the technical side of things as the PS3. For your hard earned dollars how good is this thing and should you buy it or an Atari 2600? Now that the big games like Gran Turismo Prologue and Grand Theft Auto are upon us, should you sell a kidney to buy a PS3? Or is the Sega Genesis still a better game system? CGR-HD has spent some time with the new Sony monster and has spent time with the Xbox… so let’s hear it.

But…see you are forgetting more people are buying systems these days because of all this stuff like being able to watch movies on your 360 or ps3. microsoft and sony know how big the movie industry really is. I mean shit…look how many units the PS2 sold just because you could watch movies on it and it was the cheapest dvd player out during the time

wtf sony microsoft and nintendo are forgetting something its not about the movies or blue ray or music or other ect. stuff its about games! forget all the movie if i want to buy a movie i`ll go out to walmart and buy it! if i want music i`ll use limewire if i want a game i`ll play my good old reliable SUPER NES

i own neither xbox …
i own neither xbox or sony i game on pc witch neither can touch but did buy a slim for my 9year old and will say xbox as far as gameing is i feel better but as and all around one size fits all system i feel ps3 is a far better choice dont have to pay 50.00 to play online just a bluray player alone is what like 400 or so for a sony on top of build quality and the abilty to change hd and not viod warranties

Hmm…In PS3 Slim it wont collect thumb markings,but about dust… i dont know,i dont have one yet
